Where the Barrow and Slaney meander with grace,

Cavan is a bottle,
Lakes and fishing galore,
We're proud of our Catherina,
And of 1947 and its lore. (Lisboduff NS)
Clare is famous for hurling,
The banners fly in Clare.
The Burren has lots of rocks

Cork is known as the rebel land,
With the Blarney Stone and its gift of the gab,
And the tunnel we built under the Lee
And Geraldine O'Grady, the Rose of Tralee. (Farran NS, Ovens)
Derry has golden beaches and forests of oak,
Warm-hearted people who enjoy a good joke.
Lads in red and white who brought home the cup,

Donegal is known for its scenery,
It has a lot of places to visit,
There are some famous people in Donegal

Because it's a capital city.
Vikings came here years ago

Our colours proud are maroon and white.

Kildare is the short grass county famous for the Oak,
Where St. Brigid and her folk laid down her magical cloak,
We may not have won the Sam Maguire,

Kilkenny is the land by the Nore,
Where there's marble and coal galore.
Hurling's the game, there's nothing the same,

A treaty city - the walls still stand.
Sporting success we can boast

Longford's heroes are remembered
When the story of Ballinamuck is told,
And we fly our flag with dignity

Louth is known as the Wee County,
We are red and white.
Cú Chulainn is our hero

Mayo is magic,
And full of wealth,
So pack your bags,

Meath is full of history,
With Newgrange it's greatest mystery.
It also has Tara, The Boyne Valley and Slane,

Monaghan is known as the Oriel County,
Its colours are white and blue,
Where mushrooms and furniture are plentiful,

Offaly is wild and full of ditches,
Our only downfall is sitting on pitches.
And we are known throughout the land
for our gaelic players that beat the band.(Ballinamere NS Tullamore)
Roscommon is a county with treasures to protect,
Strokestown House, Loughs Ree and Key and the memory of Douglas Hyde.
For its first county meeting, the Government chose Roscommon,
Where many schools fly Green Flags and protect the countryside. (Clonown NS)
Sligo is a scenic county,
It surely has it all.
It's got Benbulben, Knocknaree,
And Glencar Waterfall. (Ransboro NS)
Tipperary is the county that is built upon the Suir,
If you come here you can have the Rock of Cashel tour.
We have the colours blue and gold,

Waterford is in the sunny south-east
And is famous for its glass.
It is the Déise county

Westmeath is the Lakeland of Ireland
We have rivers, lakes and canal,
From Uisneach to Fore, we have folklore go leor

Wexford is known as the Model County,
Whose colours are purple and gold,
We're famed from sunshine and strawberries,
To rebels and Vikings of old. (Our Lady of Lourdes NS, Bunclody)
Wicklow is a countyMountainous and green
It is always always very lively
