My weekend with Umanga.

On Friday after school, my best friend came to my house. We got a pizza I think he liked it. After that we looked up information for our project. Umanga is very smart, he helped us a lot. After our project we made head bands, wrist bands and bands for around our hurls as we were playing a camogie county final the next day. We were very excited and we could hardly concentrate. Then we dropped Grace, my friend home. On the way back to my house, we stopped at a take-away. That was nice. When we went home we went to sleep. When we woke up we had toast and cereal. When we had finished our breakfast we went to music lessons. Umanga is great at playing the piano. When we came home we had to get ready for our match. It was very tiring. Just as we were ready to leave, my friend Orla came down for me. We walked up to the bus together. It was a long way to the match, but when we got there we were amazed to see how much support was there for us. We were sick with excitement. All during the match our team played excellently. When the final whistle blew we were overwhelmed with joy. We had won! We threw everything we had in our hands and ran and hugged anyone on our team, we could find. We were so happy. We were all crying even Umanga!

When we came home we had two bonfires and a trailer ride around Bunclody. After that we had a free meal in a chipper. After the meal I went to my Nan's house. My little cousin Joseph was there. When I went home Umanga and I got ready to go for a meal. My friend Amanda came to the meal with us. At the meal there was my Mammy, Nan, aunties Ann, Helen, Pauline and Noeleen, my uncles Donal, Liam and Joseph, Amanda and myself. The meal was not very nice. After the meal we watched a video. Umanga liked it I think. On Sunday after Mass, we went back home. After lunch we went up to the school to practise camogie. But we had to come home because it was raining. When we came home we watched a DVD. Then Amanda went home. After that I played on my computer. Then we went down to my aunty's house, all my aunties were there. We watched a video. It was very good.
