Australian Platypuses meet in Ireland!

Today our two travel buddies Claude and Syd met. They played hurling and drew 2-2 1-6. They taught us how to play Australian Rules football. They were surprised to see 39 in our class. They both miss their friends but enjoy making new ones in Ireland. Each of them has been to a camogie match which is like hurling but for girls. They did maths, learned Irish and read books. We showed them where Wexford is on the map and where Australia is. When they came they were suffering from jet lag because of the time difference. They seem to like our food especially Irish stews. We went swimming on Friday with Claude and Syd. We had a treasure hunt for Telethon - which is a fundraiser for needy people which goes on every two years. They saw Riverdance on television. They both miss you but are having a great time in Ireland.

Love Claude and Syd.
