Friday 1^st December. Umanga came to Ciara Nolan’s house with me after school. We played catch before dinner. Umanga did not really like his dinner. After dinner we went outside to take photos of Umanga at the picnic table, we did not stay long because it was very cold. We played treasure hunt for a while and Umanga was very good at guessing the answers to the clues. Then we had hot apple tart and a mug of milk before I had to go home. Ciara’s granddad and granny drove me home. When I showed Umanga to mammy and daddy they said that he was very nice. I watched television for a while then it was time for bed, my brother Thomas asked me if Umanga could sleep with him so that is where Umanga slept on Friday night.

aturday: We were up early and Umanga and I helped mammy with the shopping. Then umanga met my granny and she though that he was very funny. In the afternoon we went up to my aunty Julie’s house,were my baby cousin Eddie threw Umanga into a basin of water. My aunty Julie had to put him over the cooker to dry. Umanga helped me mind Eddie while Julie did her housework and shopping.

Sunday: We went to 10 o’clock mass and after mass we went to my granny’s house. Before dinner we coloured Christmas pictures I am sending the one that Umanga did to you. After dinner Umanga helped granny with some flowers,then he helped my uncle bring in some sticks for the fire. Umanga then helped my daddy and uncle fix the shed door. We then all had a big mug of tea before we went home. I enjoyed having Umanga home for the weekend. Grace  5th Class
