The following will form part of the MA&T Programme for 2011/2012.
Mission V Programme - pupils in senior classes will take part in the Mission V project from September to December. Pupils will also
participate in the virtual National Science Week Event 2011, supported by Discover Science and Engineering, where children will have the opportunity to design, build and program an interactive model under the theme "The Chemistry of Life". The models will then be exhibited in the MissionV Learning Hub, a dedicated virtual exhibition hall during National Science Week (November 13th - 20th 2011).
Scratch Computer Programming Course - an after school course offered to pupils from 4th to 6th. More details here.
Wikis & Blogs - pupils in senior classes will work with wikis and blogs through our Virtual Learning Environment
Brainology Programme - pupils in fourth & fifth classes will take part in the Brainology Programme. This programme is designed to teach pupils to have an open mind set and to teach them that intelligence is not fixed. Link here
World Class Arena - our pupils will take part in the World Class Arena tests designed to challenge the top 10% of pupils in the world. Link here
Podcasting - pupils in senior & middle classes will compose podcasts.

Cryptology & Codes - pupils will study a wide range of methods of encryption. This programme has been hugely popular in previous years.
Digital Stories - pupils will compose their own digital stories.
Local History Project - pupils in fifth and sixth classes will continue to add to the website called "Bunclody - A Walking History Tour", adding a project about Eileen a Ruin and James Annesley.

Etoys -
Pupils will explore a media-rich authoring environment and visual programming system called Etoys. Link here
Brainsnack - pupils in second, third & fourth classes will use the Brainsnack Challenge Cards.
