Hi! I'm Steven. I took home Umanga last night. I was so excited to get him that I forgot to get the digital camera. So I went back to the school with my father to collect it. My father is the principal of the school and he has the keys! I'm very forgetful.

When we came home I had a game of chess against Umanga. Sadly he didn't know how to play but I taught him. I also taught him a few sneaky tricks like 'Fool's Check'. Then I decided to start my homework.

I was stuck but Umanga helped me. I bearly got my homework done when it was time to go to Tae Kwon Do training. Umanga came with me but he was very shy meeting so many new people in the one day. My trainer is Oliver Hosey. He has a black belt. I am a blue belt. When I get two more belts I will also be a black belt. It was freezing cold in the hall because the glass in one window was broken and every bit of heat that was inside went flying out the window!

When I came home I had a breakfast cereal and I went into my bedroom to watch a film. It was a quarter to ten. Before the film was over my mum came in and insisted that I turn off the TV and go to sleep.

Next morning I didn't want to get out of bed I was so tired. The good news was that it was a Friday! The last day of school for the week. Sadly we had homework over the weekend.

When I reached school people were crying and weeping (not me) because Umanga was on his last day in Ireland. He was going back to New Zealand.
